So here we are in 2008 a big year for the presidential elections. A woman, an African American and POW. Sounds like the beginning of a joke. I personally am excited about this historical moment. As rhetoric ramps up for the national election, the pundits are laying the groundwork for important debate. One of the biggest appears to be immigration. What to do with them all. It would appear as if the southern poverty law center, has released a study claiming that 888 hate groups exist in this country.
The most prominent included in the bunch is FAIR, they claim they are wrongly grouped in the bunch. Hate crimes are on the rise. What country is this, do people forget about Ellis island. We fought wars for principles of freedom and equality for all. Ah the pursuit for happiness is only allowed to those with what. more than what I have.
It is estimated that approximately 2 million immigrants will cross the United States borders this year. The borders of Texas are becoming crossing
What is the big deal, since NAFTA manufacturing has seen a decline in this country. Mexico has seen a rise. When I check Mexican labor laws they all seem rather regulated almost more so than the United States. Why are people immigrating north. Crossing a border "illegally" risking their lives.

Then I check out Human Rights Watch.

Here are some reasons.
You were off to a strong start, and I was reading eagerly. Then it ended abruptly. I got the feeling you have more to say. A little research and this could be a 5 star, regardless of whether I agree with your premise or not. Actually, I don't know if I do or not, because I didn't quite pick up on what your stance is on the issue.

Alright, so NAFTA the North American Federal Trade Agreement became active in 1994. This agreement was made by Canada, United States, and Mexico; its aim- to raise Gross Domestic Product(GDP) for the continent. Competing on an international market, all three countries were seeing declines in import to export ratio. As a result to lessen trade restrictions between these three NAFTA came to be. I am having a hard time grasping the overall affects. This agreement has allowed free trade between the three. What is the immigration issue about if we have free economic borders.
My point here is, the mixed messages that are sent out. George Bush he hates em doesn't want them. Why would he his investments are not in manufacturing. He know's the rest of blue collar US does not want them, it affects our wages. He also knows his campaign contributors and party members, Do want them. It drives down their labor costs. Wake up people. If you make less than 150,000 year yeah Im talkin to you. Most of you are students aspiring to make that or more. Don't let the greed drown out sensibility. Crime rates are up, not cause there are more criminal's. Drug use is up not because there are more of them. Dropout rates are climbing, not because they don't want to go to school. It's the Economy stupid! and if you think it will get better, it will, until the next cycle. The anarchists will fire up, the commies will sound off, the capitalists will wail, and then it will all settle down again. Bringing it all to a balance, until the next crackpot agenda sets off. This one began in the mid-seventies, we will do something about it. Question is will it be for the better of everyone or a few.
All excellent points. Now, put them all together with some citations, and you'll have a great post that can stand on its own two feet!
