The latest proposal being evaluated by the leading institutions for environmental protection has taken a new turn in the science of saving our planet. While previous ideas for fuels such as ethanol and hydrogen power have proven to be with limited success, only minor steps to improve our contributions to the environment, this new proposal offers to utilize one of America’s largest abundant resources. In an effort to reduce our dependency on foreign oil researchers sought a source of energy not only abundant in the United States, but present in nations all over the globe. This way, countries of the third world could also participate in the global effort to stop global warming.
After a wide variety of experimentation regarding the heat and electric output of thousands of elements present naturally and abundantly in our world, one finally began to show the most promise. Burning at a steady temperature of 800 degrees Celsius (1472 degrees Fahrenheit) for over seven entire hours with relatively low emissions, this source not only has the ability to replenish itself, but has even been proven to be expanding in volume at an alarming rate.
This proposal to utilize combustion of a naturally forming entity known as the Homo Sapien is rapidly gaining ground within the environmental community. Because it takes several hours to completely combust the Homo Sapien, this fuel will provide a significant drop in the number of times one will need to restock. After the initial ignition, the fuel burns through a thin lipid bilayer to the area of protein tissue where burning slows to some degree. As this new source of fuel continues to combust, flames eventually continue through the flesh to the bone marrow where a second stock of lipids can be found for combustion at a higher rate. An internal combustion engine needs simply to be modified in order to fit the new specifications. Modifications include wider fuel doors, larger pistons to accommodate the larger chamber, and a compacter in order to discard the bio-degradable products conveniently into your home soil bed where one can use them to grow plants in order to offset the CO2 emissions from vehicles.
In terms of how to obtain this fuel costs for accumulation are virtually non-existent. There will be no damage to the environment due to any sort of drilling or explosives used in previous methods of fuel accumulation. This new source also poses no threat to the environment if it were to be spilled or leaked into oceans as it will decompose over a brief period of time to become a needed food supply for thriving wildlife.
The current supply of such Homo sapiens already contains a vast number seeking to aid in the environmental crisis at hand. Such members of this population merely need to be rounded up in a single place in order to begin the distillation process, which will involve a diet of lipid enhanced substances in order to increase energy production. Proponents of the idea have suggested a democratic convention.
Although enough of the Homo Sapien population must remain in order to ensure production continues to occur, it has been found that relatively unnecessary components of each individual can serve as minor fuel sources for engines of smaller structure such as space heaters or home generators. Participants in this war against global warming need only to sacrifice their right arm.

Why not use a different mammal?
Heh...I get it. We're the cause of the problem...why not be the solution, too?
But honestly, there needs to be more of an effort to make greener fuels more widely accessible to the public.
And that's comin' at ya' from yer local redneck hippie.
Ok you two BOTH missed the point entirely. Its called sarcasm. Please think a lot harder next time you read my work.

Yeah...I tend to miss sarcasm...a lot...especially in writing...
Still enjoyed it, though. It got a chuckle out of me. I knew it wasn't to be taken as completely serious. ^_^

Actually, it's called satire. And it would've been good satire if you had covered some of the logical bits too, like, why on earth not simply use cows?
Because the point of the work is to convey an opinion which you have obviously missed by posing such questions. I suggest you read "A modest proposal" by Jonathan Swift. I modeled this after his work.
If you still can't comprehend what I'm saying here I would be happy to explain it in a private message, because I want this to be open to some interpretation.

I have read it My comment was a suggestion on how you could've improved your satire.
I loved the satire and recognized it instantly. It is one of the best efforts at reworking "A Modest Proposal" I have seen in a long time.
The difference Is that while Swift's idea was intended to horrify people, this idea actually has a lot of merit. Perhaps we should not quite go so far as to burn them for fuel but we could at least kick all of the greenies off the power grid and ban them from buying gasoline. That would result in enormous energy conservation and relieve these people of a lot of hypocrisy. Let them practice what they preach.
