High Blood Pressure? Drink Cocoa!!!!

Tagged:  •    •

The fact that many all natural products can produce the same health effects as prescription drugs is amazing to me. I love to stand behind new and old findings regarding health and nature. Let’s face it, you can’t trust the drug industry to tell you what chemicals react how in your body. Is it not better to just eat healthy and naturally and disregard the drugs? Where did they find the components to put into prescriptions anyway? Did you know that wild yams are a proven form of birth control? There are so many natural things out there that cure ‘this and that’ that I’m sure it would blow people’s minds. The fact that cocoa is healthy is awesome to me. Coming from a Hispanic family, we’ve always had it around. Cheers!

CHICAGO MSNBC- Some may see a cup of tea as soothing, but chocolate is more likely to lower one’s blood pressure, German researchers reported Monday.

Foods rich in cocoa appear to reduce blood pressure, but drinking green and black tea may not, according to an analysis of previously published research in the Archives of Internal Medicine, published by the American Medical Association.

The drop in blood pressure among participants who consumed cocoa products for at least two weeks was in the same range as achieved by someone taking drugs commonly prescribed to control high blood pressure.

I don't really know what to say about the blood pressure thing, because water by itself helps just as well, but natural over made up crap....is always better health wise. Now, does it taste better or make you feel better quicker, most of the times, no.....but it will help you better to use something more natural/organic.

organic eating is so underrated... mostly because of the cost of food but it's so good for you. many people, sadly, would just rather eat cheesburgers and pop pills.
