How can anyone ask to be taken seriously when they put up a post titled "High Profile Bloggers Planning Code of Conduct", and the first sentence reads:
Something about the internet and anonymity reveal people’s inner dickheads, as Virginia political blogs illustrate more and more clearly with every passing month.
(emphasis my own)
Waldo, I want to remind you of this.
If you are looking to inspire middle and high school kids who will be blogging and claim to worry about civility in the blogosphere, how about cleaning up your 'potty keyboard' for starters?
Did I mention something about Lefties using 'bullying & cyber stalking' against Conservative bloggers? I wonder why some bloggers cozy up to this tripe, and those on the left, just over look vulgar language by their fellow bloggers?
and then have the nerve to highlight something like this:
You want to improve the blogosphere? Raise the bar on substance, instead of hiding behind form.
I think getting vulgarity off the net might just help the cause of substance, or is this some kind of 'form' you condone? I notice you never resort to it on your blog.
