I firmly believe that in order to achieve emotional stability, one must allow himself (herself) to find several ways to vent his or her feelings.
A modicum of trust is involved in all forms of emotional release, whether talking to someone on the phone, typing in an instant messenger, sending a text message, or shouting in someones face.
Personally, I use writing as a form of release.
Blogging is the term of choice in this day and age.
Of course I am not saying that blogging, writing or anything that I could suggest is the BEST form of release.
Each person has different qualities and characteristics. Some find it easy to express themselves through communication, whether verbal, or via the internet.
Use several different forms of release to avoid repetitiveness.
On the other hand, some others have a hard time expressing themselves on a communicational level. Some enjoy the physical form of release. Some jogg, work out, play games, or participate in sports as a form of release.
The key is finding the best form of release that suits your personality and your lifestyle.
Be REAL with yourself.
If you are outgoing, personable and well spoken, you tend to enjoy verbal release.
If you are reserved and humble, you tend to focus on the physical aspect of release.
Our brains work like a machine. If overloaded with work and ware, the machine slowly builds up to a point of emplosion and in some cases, fatal error.

We should not allow ourselves to become emotionally compacted. Our minds, feelings, and emotions can not handle the pressure of compiled emotion, be it happiness or sadness. Failure to release these emotions leads to the slow build-up of an implosion, in which matter we tend to let our emotions get the better of us, and we scream, argue, fight, and begin shutting off the receptors of understanding in our brain. Nothing anyone else says matters in those moments; a totally unstoppable force.
Expressing yourself physically, emotionally, and verbally in a calm and composed manner will set the tone for each situation that comes your way.
Not only will you see a change in your life, you might just impact someone else in the process, which is one of the most uplifting accomplishments one could ever achieve.
And we all need room for emotional growth and learning, whether we admit it, or not.

I like how you put pictures to collaborate with your blog. Personally, I am emotional stable most of the times. But I do realize that I also have an ounce of insanity in me. Everyone has it. I have many ways to release myself because I can do many things (sing, dance, exercise, play guitar, write, play games, etc. for example) while other people are incapable of doing so. Perhaps they lack knowledge or have no time to focus their minds on something else. Great post by the way.
