Oh I bet your going to ride some D*** tonight

so when a guy said that to me in light of valentines day i got to thinking....how exactly guys think hearing that is......what... some kind of turn on? why instead of "your a beautiful women" its.. "damn your a sexy bitch" or "let me get your number so i can hit that up" instead of just asking for my number?

is it a show for friends? because to me it seems like it would gain more attention if the girl actually came up to him instead of giving him the finger.

but when i bring this up to the guy who so kindly let me know i was a piece of ass, he makes it out like he was just joking and gets pissed that i even brought it up...he was pissed that i was offended by his degrading comment. How does that work?

im not the type of girl who needs chivery but some decencey would be nice, if there was something women could say that would equal the impact of what these men say i wouldn't want women to say them either....

Im really curious...if any guy can give me a truly honest reason or theory i would love to hear.

I've never said that to a girl. Well, I'll clarify. I've said that to girls I know would know that I'm just being stupid 'cause I make jokes about everything. Basically, I'd tell you that most guys are pretty stupid. And I mean so stupid that I'd probably hope you'd laugh if they all fell off cliffs. And I mean if I were you, I'd want chivalry instead of that crap most guys will give you. I can't explain why any guy says what they say, but I'd just tell you that they're dumb.

Guy's are **, and all the want is **. Even if they say they don't. They always do. Especially on this day.

Lmao, you kiss your mother with that mouth?

Until I met my friends girlfriend, I thought as you do, but I was wrong, girls think about it just as much as guys do, so don't try to act all goodtoshoes about it.

Lets face it guys need to keep a level of coolness with their friends and by making comments like that if a girls digs them they are the man, if not then the girl "couldnt take a joke and blew up over nothing". After that its on to the next girl and they once again can get a kick out of the reaction. I myself have never treated a girl like and never will but i do understand the logic as we have big egos and plenty of pride

I'm with you--I honestly don't understand why so many guys are under the impression that it's okay to talk to girls like that. That it's okay to shout obscenities from their front porches, whistle, joke, stare openly at whatever they want to. Where do they learn that it's okay to treat girls like a hunk of meat? It baffles me.

Eh....

I agree with you for the most part, except when you say "...[or] stare openly at whatever they want to."

I disagree because honestly, most girls are the reason guys think it's okay to stare. If you wear a shirt that shows your cleavage, you're asking to be stared at. The same goes for tight jeans (because you aren't wearing them for comfort; you're wearing them to make your butt look cute) and short skirts.

That's true. I may get irritated if a guy stares while I'm wearing a low-cut top, but there's nothing I can do about it at the moment. What really gets on my nerves is when guys stare even if I'm wearing a baggy turtleneck - you can't see anything then, so why bother?

I don't need drugs - I have genetics.
