I don't know what all the fuss is all about. This race for the democratic nomination is democracy at its best. The race should not stop just because Sen. Barack Obama is ahead. All of the primaries haven't taken place. Until all of the the states have been heard from this race is not over.
Sen. Obama says that both candidates should follow the rules. Well, the rules are that until a candidate reaches 2025 delegates the race is not over. If no candidate reaches 20025, then the super delegates decide the nominee.
Well, I think that if the DNC does not recognize the states of Michigan and Florida then the voice of the people there have not been heard. They have been ignored. The DNC should figure out a way to get those people heard.
The two candidates should sit down and figure out a way to combine forces and unite the party. I believe that that is the only way. Now is the time to start bringing the party together. VOTE CLINTON/OBAMA. I believe that if this does not happen the party will not completely unify. There will be division if Obama wins and Cliinton loses. There will be division if Clinton wins and Obama loses. A CLINTION/OBAMA ticket is the only way to truely unite the party.

I agree, it's undemocratic to simply assume a race is won before all the votes are counted. For that reason, I admired Mike Huckabee's campaign because he refused to drop out even when it was totally obvious that he would lose.
Also, I hate the idea of superdelegates. I think it's undemocratic-- it reminds me of the "elections" that take place in China, where only party insiders (sort of like Chinese superdelegates) are allowed to determine who runs, and of course, they have to be Communists.
As for the DNC, they failed to come up with a solution in time, so Florida and Michigan won't be counted. Because of this, I don't think a state will ever dare to break party rules ever again, and move up their primary elections. Of course, this problem would have never happened if all primaries were held on the same day, or at least within the same week.
A Clinton Obama ticket? It might be the only thing that can beat John McCain, but I don't think it will happen; Obama has already said he would not pick Hill as a VP. As a McCain supporter, I certainly hope it won't happen!
