Other... we have all seen it. It is that category that no one is really sure what it stands for, well I am apart of that category. On many forms they want you to specify only one nationality or race. I am more than that I am 2 dominant races, a common "mix". I am African American AND Caucasian even though I would never be considered as such. For many people only filling in one race is not a problem but for many people it is.
Some people might call me extreme for saying this however, I feel that people who have to live with this problem or issue in their daily lives will understand where I am coming from. Maybe it is ignorance, which I do not think it is, maybe its a problem not faced by the makers of the forms, or maybe the government and other agencies or people making these types of forms haven't caught up with the rest of the word. The world has moved on from black and white, there are many shades of gray. I am proud to be a shade of gray and I shouldn't have to just be an "other", or a minority, neither should anyone else, no matter what "mix" they are.

Well I would jsut put in African American. That's probably what you do. I mean they get the most benefits in this country anyway, use it to your advantage. And no i'm not knocking African Americans, I have respect for them, the system is working in their favor.
