I was horrified to read that some guy in New York City left a baby in a cab. This happened on Thursday when it was only in the low twenties out. Though it is better then leaving her out in the cold, what kind of parent would do something like this. To not even care enough about a child and to just leave her where anything could happen to her. He said he was going to make a phone call and never came back to the cab and the baby girl.
Though I give the taxi driver credit. He took her to a fire station so that she could be taken care of, which she was by the firefighters who played with her till EMTs got there. But really what kind of parent would leave a baby all by there self in a car. The guy that left her also left a diaper bag with a few essentials but that only lasts so long.
They are trying to identify the girl and yet no one has come forward to help and only one tip has been recieved about the girl. What is the world coming to if those in America can just leave a baby or anything to such a young innocent life is horrible.

This is a sad story. I think it's even sadder that we are in a condition in a country where people who have children that they do not want are left to such extreme choices. To give the parents the benifit of the doubt, maybe something horrific happened to the man, and he had every intention of returning for his child.
Wait, what exactly did the guy do wrong?
He left the child where she would be found, correct? And he left her in a safe place, correct? Then what's the problem?
