After its inception in nineties, and especially within the past few years, the popularity of the blog has skyrocketed. After hearing about this scholarship online, I decided, why not try this? Why not become a part of the ever-growing community of people who, day after day, share their lives, their passions, and their thoughts with the world.
So, who am I? I am someone who believes that there is so much room for learning and self-exploration through this outlet, and I am anxious to begin sharing my feelings on varying issues, from monetary policy to movies, and also to begin to learn about the beliefs of other Progressive U members. I think there is added interest in this form of expression because of the anonymity that is associated with it. The beauty of the blog is that without knowing personal information about me, including my name, members who read this regularly will be able to know me on a very deep level. Through posting blogs regarding my stance on issues that interest me, my political views and personal anecdotes, you will see a side of me that a name and a brief bio could never show. This is why, aside from divulging that I am currently a member of an accredited four year university studying finance and economics, I will remain anonymous...and that, my new friend, is the beauty of the blog.
