So, I have liked this guy for two and a half years, but distance has seperated us for that long as well. I live in Ohio; he lives in Michigan. Thank goodness that my grandma lives in Michigan and my best friend's sister lives in Michigan; otherwise I would probably never see him. Well, this weekend is going to be a dream come true (a dream that has gone on for far too long!)
We are having our Christmas celebration tommorow at my grandma's house because she goes down to Florida every year and Florida is too far for everyone to travel around the holidays. All my aunts, uncles, and cousins are going to be there too (and my mom has 11 brothers and sisters, so you can imagine how much of a full house it is!) Anyways, I called this guy on the off-chance that he would be available to get together and he said that he would love to come! I was pretty amazed by this because he is kind of shy and I can't imagine the level of courage it takes to come to my huge family get-together, what with all the craziness that comes with hanging out with my entire family all at once! It made me feel pretty special!
Not only that, but he severly sprained his right ankle a few weeks ago and will therefore have to drive with his left foot! He is driving one hour on his left foot to come see me. For all the gentlemen out there, I need your advice. Would you do the same for a girl who you were not interested in? Or would you just tell her that you could not come? I still don't know whether or not he is interested in me, but I hope that this may be a good indication of his interest! Let me know what you think because for me, a guy is a mysterious creature!

Thanks for the encouragement! I really hope that he just gets up enough courage to ask me out! He is pretty shy, so it must have taken a huge amount of courage to come all that way to meet my entire extended family...over 30 people he had never met! But I really hope that you are right about liking me a lot! =)

First off, i always love to read your writings. He can do it for lots of reasons, could be in appreciation for how much you like him, could be that he wants to try to like you (you sound like u haven't been around eachother too much), could be just for some adventure... but then it could be HE'S JUST AS CRAZY ABOUT YOU..lol Make sure he enjoys it. Don't get too excited but get excited and have fun.

He did end up coming; driving on his left foot, after a full day's work, through ice and snow, going 25 miles per hour all the way home! And I think that he had a good time with my crazy family too....at least he said he did!
I really hope that the last reason that you gave is the reason he came, but I just have to be patient and wait on God to move his heart if he is going to pursue me.
Girls really aren't all that hard to figure out; they just want to be pursued that's all! =)
