Should Men Be Honored? That's a very broad question. In a unit that I was studying in school it showed how voices of women are portrayed by men and women. In this particular story a sterotype was brung to my attention that men and women are suppose to carry. It also talked about a man being honored. It said that women was suppose to cook, clean, and watch the children, while men went out to work to earn money. In today's society, you have women doing a man's job. Such as being a carpenter, policeman, firefighter, construction worker, and etc. Also, women are starting to play a man's sport such as football. I think that those sterotypes are way off.
Everyone has their own point of view. I feel as though men and women should be on an equal level. Its okay to honor men; but you can't forget to honor thyself. People back then thought that men needed to be high and superior. But, I am here to let you know women are just as high and superior today in time.

I actually have a blog on a similar topic: http://www.progressiveu.org/101924-on-gender-equality
Basically, men should NOT be honored and women should NOT be expected to cook and cleanby themselves all the time, or for that matter be honored either. At this day and age, all I hear about is about how gender equality is supposed to exist. Well, the husband and wife should share their responsibilities. The woman should work (of course unless she is nursing a child) and the man should help with the cooking...But if that does not work in a family, then that is fine, they just need to come up with their own "plan of action" on how to SHARE, not divide, their responsibilities of spousehood and parenthood.
