The one thing those artist have in common is that they know, like you and I know, that women use what they got to to get what they want, and they are taught this from the womb. No Money, No Honey. Shake what your mama gave ya.On and on. The men don't teach these young ladies this it starts at home frome the female guardians.. So you give these messages to young women, and they in turn give this message to their offspring who just happen to grow up in be rappers amd what happens next.? Why are we surprised when a young dates a young boy and takes advantange of her and calls her explict names? Why are you surprised to see 12-year old girls moving like strippers and dressing and ways they shouldn't be.? Why doesn't it make sense that young black men would rather be hustlers than being a computer technician? It is fair to say that it is not hip-hop's fault for the increasing failing rate of our generation. But more like socitey's fault. Because there are more people telling us all the negative things that we will accomplish than the good. They fail to realize that we actually do listen to them and words do have a meaning. Its because of them that we turn to hp-hop artists such as 50 cent, Kanye West, and Biggie and try to portray their life and their role. The reason being because alot of teenagers are just worried about, money. Because family members and love ones often complain how the world revolves around money.
I guess the Wu-Tang Clan was right. Cash Rules Everything Around Me.

Not all girls who try to use their body to get what they want in life were taught that by their mother. This is glamourized by the media and by all types of music, including hip hop.

I agree with the fact that what we are seeing is not the hip-hop artists fault. It truly is society's fault. The responsibility belongs to the parents of the household. Where do you get your confidence, self-esteem, and principles for everyday living...at home. However, who is going to teach us when our father is not there and is not involved in our lives? Who is going to lead and guide us when the mother is strung out on crack and drugs? What we see, especially in the school system, is that teachers and officers throw these kids away without dealing with the root of their anger, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, lack of determination, and behavior. Society can no longer point the finger and then think that putting these kids in jail is going to work because, you have these rappers glamourizing going to jail as if it is in award. However, you have to be a self-determined person that no matter what anyone says you are going to be successful. We could spend all day pointing the finger at why we are not doing the things we should to become a better person in society. But, I propose the question: what are you doing to make you better? You can choose to listen to rap music that is not degrading such as "Common" and many others. You have to take responsibility for what you put in your ears because what you give attention too and allow in your head will affect your future.
