Freedom, do you know what it means? Why are you against it?

The definition of freedom is the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint, or exemption from external control. I may not support all the issues out there today. But as it was said in Futurama, "I may not support his actions, but I will fight to the death for freedom." Why can't we understand that sometimes freedom isn't neccessarily what we personally may want for ourselves, but something that is much larger than that. Something that encompasses everyone and affects everything, it is allowing people to be who they are without constraints. The bill of rights goes so far as to ensure freedoms for all those as long as it does not hurtfully impact another human, how do some of the issues today do that? Why are we so against freedom?
