So, as a senior I am required to take grade 12 health. We've had a good deal of health classes and the only things we have talked about are relationships and how to have a healthy one and this and that, yadda, yadda, yadda. I understand that having healthy relationships is important but I don't understand why every example my teacher uses is a boyfriend/girfriend relationship. I for one have never been in a relationship with a boy and I know of other people in the class who have never been in a relationship. She is always asking us to think of a moment in our relationship that makes us happy or sad or some other emotion that I have yet to experience due to my lack of relationshipness. I know that as a senior in high school it is expected that I should have been in some kind of boyfriend/girlfriend relationship but it just hasn't happend yet. And believe me it isn't for lack of trying. I just wish that sometimes a relationship with a parent or sibling or someone else could be used instead of one with a boyfriend or girlfriend. Am I way off? Who knows anyway...?

I will definitely join you in the lack of "relationshipness" (nudge), although I expect I don't need to go into any detail on this matter. My health teacher tries very hard to keep things on the same level for everyone and doesn't stereotype unless to make a point. He's fun too in a, "I know you don't want to be here, but pretend you like it anyway" sort of way.
Just don't get too assertive or argumentative; it's only health class.
