Will Microsoft one day take over the world?

Has anybody besides me notice that when you go to buy a computer at any store in the United States it always comes with the Windows operating system? You can not go to a Best Buy or a Circuit City and buy a computer that does not come with Windows, I think that it is stupid that no matter what computer you buy you are also purchasing Windows products. I really do not like Windows that much but I am not capable of reinstalling a new operating system on my computer. I would much rather use a better operating system such as Linux and it would be free to use. I believe that Windows will one day take over the internet and then the world because they will have total access to all information. We are coming into an era that relies on computers, and Microsoft products come on almost every manufactured computer that is one the market today. If the world is not careful, we will one day become over taken by Microsoft and there will be nothing anyone can do or say to change it. I just hope that with the release of Microsoft Vista things will not go very well for Microsoft. If anybody reading this has used Microsoft Vista they know how un-user friendly it really is. We can only hope that it is the downfall of Microsoft.

Hi, I'm responding to your Microsoft blog. I agree and disagree with your point of view. I agree on the circumstance that you do seem to see the Windows logo on just about every computer you buy, but please keep in mind that not all people has had experience with Linux. To tell you the truth, I haven't either. I worked in every other version of windows except Linux, Vista Basic, Business, Ultimate. I myself own Vista Home Premium and would much rather prefer XP Media Center.

I think there are benifits to everyone having and using Microsoft. It allows standardization, and things are the same from computer to computer, which can be quite useful.
