Look, It's Jesus

Yesterday in Mason City, Iowa a man stormed through the doors of a local church and loudly proclaimed, "I am Jesus." He then proceeded to topple over two tables because apparantly the people present were defiling his father's(God's) house. Needless to say the man was taken into custody. I mean, it's not the first time some freakoid has named himself the son of God. But this little episode got me thinking. It got me thinking in some weird ways. What if this man or one of the other "Jesus" really is Jesus? Okay, I know, freak Idea, but think about it. What if he is. I mean I've never seen Jesus in the flesh and blood, and unless you were born about forever ago you haven't either. So this guy really could be it for all I know. I mean Jesus did say he's coming back someday, and he never said that he wouldn't show up as some random guy that everyone thinks is psychotic from time to time. So if this really is Jesus, that means we just sent Jesus to prison. Isn't that a sin? It's crazy. Here could be the Son of God for all I know and we just sent him to prison. Or at least they did, because, frankly, if this really is the Son of God I want know part in his imprisonment. I don't want to be held responsible for a simple misunderstanding. So here's some food for thought, and a couple things I want some responses to, just for fun. Just by some freak chance that one of these guys is Jesus, do you think it's wrong to take them into custody? And also if one of these guys really turned out to be Jesus, what would you do?

My answers: 1. I'm not one to judge if one of these guys really is Jesus, so I personally won't take them in. And if they really are Jesus we all know that Jesus is perfect love, so I don't think he'd hurt anyone so let's let him go. Besides, if he's not Jesus, I can think of a whole bunch of other people that would be worse for him to think he is, like Charles Manson for example.

2. If one of these guys turned out to be Jesus I think I would be flying up to heaven so fast, my head would still be spinning by the time I got there.

I personally think that if this "Jesus" isn't hurting anyone, then he's not committing a crime. How do we know the difference? For all we know, Jesus has already had his second coming and we all missed out on it.

let me put it this way, the real Jesus said that many people would "come in His name" and call himself Jesus. The real Jesus said,"don't buy it." When the real Jesus returns, He won't be some psychotic crazy dude that the authorities could lay their hands on.

Actually, people called him crazy when he was here the first time.

Authorities can't lay their hands on him if he comes back again? They did it once, who's to say they won't do it again?

Actually, you've got a good point. The first time, the Jews and Romans had him imprisoned for whatever reason, whats to say that the Americans or British or who-the-fuck ever wouldn't do it a second time. Minus the crucifiction of course. O_o

I don't know...people today are probably even crazier than back then ¬_¬.

I have thought about this before. I remember a comic talking about how he saw a bum in new york, standing times square, holding a sign proclaiming "GOD IS A BROOMSTICK." Naturally everyone laughed but he continued, " What if, What if when we die and go to heaven gods turns out to actually be a broomstick people will say 'why didn't you give us a sign." he'll reply, ' What are you talking about i stuck a man on the corner of the busiest square in the world holding a sign telling everyone are you telling me not one of you listened.' "

When Jesus returns the second time,He'll return with the armies of heaven. When He comes back, there will be armies attacking Jerusalem. They'll try to stop Him and they will all wind up dead. Just a word from His mouth could kill them. Not even all the armies in the world--American or Britain--will stop Him.

Don't think of Jesus as some mamby-pamby curly haired girly man,He has a lot of power!

Doesn't Jesus stand for peace?

I don't think that if he came back people would send ARMIES to come after him. That notion seems pretty ridiculous.

Jesus stands for peace, but not like "love, peace, save the whales." Jesus stands for peace in your heart. But to stay on topic, people hate Jesus. It doesn't matter what He stands for, people still don't like Him. He warned His followers about this and said, and I paraphrase,"Look, the world is going to hate you guys. But don't worry, they hated me first."

and I want you to know,I'm not making this stuff about the army up.go to biblegateway.com and search for Revelation 19:11-21. That passage isn't for the feint of heart.

Oh, lol.

What the hell kind of Bible is that?

I didn't mean Jesus stood for save the whales, he died for our sins to save us, I don't think he'd go and then kill us all.

Wow, everyone hates Jesus? Oh damn, that means I hate him too doesn't it?
