The beauty of being a teenager

Tagged:  •    •

I think that teenagers go through a lot. We have to go to school, work to make money, look after our younger siblings, deal with peer pressure, deal with our parents nagging, look good ALL of the time and maintain really good grades so that we can get into college. Then we have to worry about paying for college. All of these things are working against each other and we as teenagers have to work with them just so that we can do well in life. It's all so hard and stressful. We then have to deal with things like our social security cards being stolen (its happened to me but thats another blog). All the things that we deal with what do we even do it for?Give me reasons why we are still teenagers and we are losing hair and have high blood pressure? Most of us aren't even 21 yet. Whats goning to happen when we're 40?

Wait till you actually get into college, out on your own and have to work full time while going to school full time so you can afford to pay the rent, utilities, car payment/insurance, and that little, unimportant thing called food....

When are people going to realize that we're putting this pressure upon ourselves for the most part? Well, the pressure may be out of our control, but stress is a controllable thing, and no one seems to care to control it.

If your parents get a divorce, then you'll really have to worry about getting good grades, finding a job, and paying for college just like me.
