So I feel like I've been gone for a while and there are a few things I need to share.
First to politics...
I don't know if any of you know or have ever heard of Brandon Cosby but he's an amazing man...look up his work...well
he was in New Orleans last week and a senator from Virginia called him and invited him to dinner with her and a major education guy that works for Barack Obama...like if he wins this guy will probably be the secretary of education...so the next day he comes home and here's the convo he had with my speech coach
Him: "So, I talked to the senator."
Her: "Yeah I know you went to dinner with her."
Him: "No, I talked to the OTHER senator...like the one running for president. He called me at my hotel last night and told me he's jealous b/c he can't have someone out there that sounds better than me."
so I guess Obama wants him to do some work for him now. How amazing is that?

last night my sister and I were coming home last night and the car in front of her slammed on its brakes...so as we passed I noticed something odd...there was a man rolling around in the median...so we turn around...and he's stumbling around b/c he's soooo drunk...apparently someone called the cops b/c next thing we know there are 3 cop cars surrounding the guy...so he got arrested and as we were passing him we saw that even the cop that arrested the guy was laughing at him while talking to him....I don't get it...why can't people just be responsible? Why did this guy have to let a night of drinking turn into such a spectacle, causing lights to go out, and traffic. I don't understand why he couldn't have just been smarter about it.
