Does it ever bother you when you see a plastic bag hanging from a tree in the middle of a field? That bag is NOT supposed to be there, correct? How do you feel about that Crunch rapper that is half eaten by the earth, protruding from the gravel of your driveway? It's not normal, that is not how the enviroment is supposed to look. One of my biggest pet peaves is when I'm sitting on a hill-top admiring the sunset, or watching the earth busy itself with living, and out of nowhere one type of trash or another obstructs my view. This trash ruins the originally picturesque picture that I took time to notice, and why? Because there are thousands, maybe millions, maybe billions of people out there that simply DO NOT CARE! I find this ridiculous, petrifying, ludricous, and outrageous. The Varsity Soccer Coach at my school is a big enviromentalist and he makes it a huge point that we "leave our fields better than they were before". Why? so small or large pieces of trash do not ruin the picture that I find so beautiful. So tomorrow will come, I'll crawl out of my bed, walk out the door, and despite these efforts I'll still find garbage spread throughout the earth.
