This post is not against abortion, but against the clinics that hide rape.
I used many sites to gather info, but I picked 2, footnotes are at the bottom:
The question is, should these abortion clinics report rape, or when the young underage females are raped by older men (With permission or without, since they are underage) Or report something even if they suspect something.
***if you don't want to read the whole thing, here is a quick summary: "The Clinics don't always/rarely report abuse, rape., which is against the law"
To start off:
“I was raped at 11, by my 17 year old boyfriend. I chose not to tell my parents because I didn't think their involvement would help, that was the right choice for me. Planned Parenthood [sic] helped me deal with the aftermath of the rape allowing me to deal and cope as best as I could in my own way.” In response, pro-life leaders have called for an investigation, as Planned Parenthood is required by law to report cases of child abuse. The abortion business has since removed the post from their web site." (1)
"“In the guise of protecting an 11-year-old child, Planned Parenthood has instead further made her a victim, while protecting her rapist," Perkins explained. "According to California state statistics almost 70% of teen births are children of adult men, and teenage girls are twice as likely to have sexually transmitted diseases as teenage boys."(1)
---------------
"As detailed on this web site, during a two year investigation Life Dynamics legally recorded over 800 calls to Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation facilities where the caller portrayed a 13-year-old girl who was pregnant by an adult and wanted an abortion in order to hide the illegal sexual relationship from her parents and the authorities. On the tapes many of the clinic workers can be heard telling the caller that this situation was unlawful and that they're legally required to report it to the state. However, even after acknowledging this, 91 percent of the 800 facilities contacted agreed to illegally conceal it."(2)
"So it's no surprise that abortion clinics in Kansas and Indiana have failed to turn over the medical records that could prove they have been helping sexual predators conceal child rape. Abortion clinic representatives in Kansas have even gone so far as to openly declare in published reports that they will not comply with the state's mandatory reporting laws. However, the Kansas legislature has followed the Attorney General's lead and has just passed a law to stop abortion clinics from protecting predators by destroying fetal tissue DNA that could be used to prosecute cases of child rape and get sexual predators off the streets. Visit this page often for the latest news, commentary and interviews related to the abortion clinic investigations by the Kansas Attorney General and the Indiana Attorney General, the Ohio lawsuit against Planned Parenthood for "aiding and abetting" the abuse of 13-year-old girl by a 21-year-old man, and more on this breaking issue!" (2)
---------------------------
"The result? The majority of abortion clinic staff coached the girl to call back anonymously and lie about her boyfriend's age. They informed her that if she continued and gave her name, they would have to inform law enforcement of her boyfriend's age and he might go to jail, in turn insuring that her parents would definitely learn of her illicit relationship.(3)
---------
Besides it being a Pro-Life, or Pro-Choice dispute. Shouldn't the clinics report this? Sure they can talk with the young female, but the girl's boyfriend still broke the law. She is underage. Why do they do this? Do they think it's too much of a hassle to report? Does the girl's age matter? Whether she is 9 and is raped by her 21 year old boyfriend, or if she is 16?. Why not step in and fight the abuse? How can they not suspect something when a little girl goes in pregnant?

I personally believe that these clinics should report rape cases because it could help catch child predators. it could help society so much more.
Yes they should, how hard would it be?
I'm pretty sure it's not hard at all, I think they are just trying to keep themselves out of law suits that would be piling up because of the patient-doctor confidentiality thing.
If they reported the rape cases, the girls who did use Planned Parenthood as a place to tell about their problems would stop going there for fear of being "outed."

I had no idea this is happening at a large scale. These people lack morality! Thay should definitely report the abuses. By not reporting them it measn they accept them and support them.
People can lose their trust in Planned Parenthood if this continues...and if more similar cases are exposed.
what
If you took the time to read it, maybe you would understand
Rape cases should always be reported! I mean if there not these rapist could go and rape agian
13 year olds are children. They may not think they need parent supervision--but they do, and having other adults encourage them to lie to their parents just puts these children more at risk.

Forcing Planned Parenthood to report every case of rape they have encountered is just the crack in the shell that would force other anonymous counseling agencies to report cases of sexual coercion.
Victims don't come forward because they're too afraid of public humiliation. So they confine in these anonymous agencies that offer them protection giving victims a chance to express what happened to them, instead of keeping it bottled up inside, festering and growing. The best form of counseling for a victim is to be able to just talk about what happened and not worry about others thinking any less of her. Rape is a major taboo in this country, so much that everyone's afraid to talk about it. But forcing agencies that offer counseling and help services for victims is the wrong way to break the societal silence of rape.
Reporting an act of sexual violence should be up to the victim and no one else, it is her decision whether she wants to be put through the emotional strain of the legal system.
