Now, that I have your attention, I must begin my tale by explaining exactly what makes me so fucking sick.
My sister just got a job at the U.S. Post Office (vampire shift) handling the mail by chucking boxes into bins and loading them onto trucks. Seems harmless, right?

What the fuck is that?
I'll tell you.
People actually send baby chicks and ducks in card board boxes through the mail. Now, you're probably thinking so what? The problem is, if the average person knew how the mail is handled they would probably be compelled to join the order of PETA. These boxes are literally thrown into bins with other boxes allowing many of these animals to be crushed, squished, packed, rammed, mashed, trampled, pulverized, triturated, or any other synonym you wish to come up with. And for the ones that manage to avoid becoming jelly, they are carted into heated trucks that go on trips for days at a time. Not to mention these animals have tiny air holes and are given absolutely NO FOOD AND WATER.
I heard a story of a postal worker who found a box of courageous baby chicks who had pecked through their box, as well as the box of worms sitting beneath them, and FEASTED! Although one box managed to survive, a shit load do not.
This is absurd. I also have been told that many of these boxes come with already rotting chicks and ducks, so the smell of death abounds.
WHERE IS PETA? WHERE IS OUR GOVERNMENT? WHERE THE FUCK IS THE PUBLIC?!?!?!
HELL, why not send some baby puppies through the mail? Don't like dogs, how about a kitten? HOW ABOUT YOUR OWN FUCKING BABY?!
It's not acceptable. Who gives a fuck, it's just food, right?
Now I'm just pissing myself off, and frankly I was pissed off to begin with. I just want it to be known that these animals breath. They chirp. And they die in the mail.
Oh my gosh! I never knew people actually sent animals throught the U.S. Postal Service. That is so sad!!! I'm also surprised PETA hasn't done anything yet. Why would people mail animals though? I mean, so many must die, never getting to wherever they're sent to.
Who the hell would send animals through the mail and why??? That's disgusting!!! I can't believe no one knew about this...

I had the same reaction as all of you! I know some people probably don't give a shit because animals are axed everyday; however, this is completely unnecessary.
I was told that one night a HUGE box came in that was pancaked and the head post master had to go in and pick out the baby chicks that were still alive. GROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...
I am diligently trying to find out exactly why PETA has not stepped in on this issue. It's VERY difficult as I am talking about unveiling some shady business practices of huge corporations, some of which our government may be involved. One of the issues is that mail is private property. To know what is inside of a package is to infringe on that property; however, if a human head was found inside of a box that needs to be reported immediately. Now, I am not trying to compare a human head to 100 baby chicks, what I am trying to argue is that when a package is opened, for whatever reason, its contents remain private, with the exception of human carnage.
THIS IS NOT RIGHT. I think ALL carnage should be reported!
This is extremely cruel, and hopefully the public can see that, animal lover or not.
Side note: Just to let everyong know, illegal drugs are not reported either.
