im big so what

wow its like it will never end. im so tired of people being so judgemental. i mean yes we all do it but sometimes other people take it to far. ill use myself as an example ok im plus size. i have always been a bigger gurl. since birth i was almost 11 pounds. i know talk about a big baby. but thats just me and i cant change who i am. what people dont understand is that when you make fun of us it hurts it really does. i mean what point are you getting across. "your fat!!!" umm ok tell me something i dont already know really. if you have to get that low to make fun of someone else you must be really insecure about yourself. what you are saying to us really hurts and affects us all in different ways. i just feel as if maybe people were less judgmental we would all have a lot more friends and we would not be living in a world of so much hate. i mean just answer this why make fun of someone??? why put them down??? who are you trying to impress??? really think about it. i know not all people are the same but there are those people out there that dont change. they feel as if what they say is ok and they dont care. i know i have gone a lil off topic about the plus size thing but it just bothers so much to know that its not even just the plus size people in todays world. its a lot more then that. we got the so called nerds and dork and geeks that people want to make fun of. but yet those dorks and geeks are goin to be the ones living a great life because while you were busy having fun they were focused on there education and achieving their dreams. well i dont know exactly how to put this but really before you decide you want to make fun of them consider there feelings consider what they could be going through not only in school but at home. some of these people that gte made fun of dont have goodlives at home either so think about it you dont really make it any better for them.

There is no reason to judge anyone based on their size. And I hate that its so difficult for plus size women to find a wide selection of clothes to choose from.

This was a very impressionable read. Thank you.
I'm curious after reading this, and I know it can be difficult to change the shoes yer in, but have you considered these experiences as motivation? It's never as simple as it seems, and there may be something holding you back that I don't know. I was just looking for something inspirational to conclude your opinion about hateful judgments...

As motivation to do what, exactly?

Perhaps live a more healthy lifestyle, whatever that truly means...?

People call other people fat (or various other things that reflect the same meaning) in order to demean and humiliate them. But there is nothing about a person's size that inherently makes them less of a person. It doesn't make them less smart, capable, attractive, or fun.

But you're suggesting that she take those insults as motivation to lose weight? I find that kind of offensive. It's the people doing the insulting that have their thinking out of wack. And its the kind of thinking that I hear in your comment that leads to the idea that skinny=good. It's not true. A person can be thin and malnourished, they could be missing vital nutrients because they only eat junk food. And a person can eat perfectly healthy and not be a size 2 (for women) or have a 32-inch waistline (for men).

A small size does not necessarily reflect health, nor does a larger size necessarily reflect poor health.
