Today my friend and I were walking and we found a baby Pit Bull puppy. She couldn't have been more than 3 1/2 months old. We took her home and now we are takign care of her. She has been very neglected. You can see her bones and you can deffinately tell that she has worms. I, as an animal lover, cannot understand why it is that people would get a an animal and then ignore it and totalyl abuse it. My friend and I picked this dog up shivering and smelling like pee. Part of the reason I like who I am and where I get to live right now. Both my friend and I respect animals and know how to take good care fo them. We gave her a bath and fed her and dewormed her. I think that all animal cruelity should be cracked down on. The people who breed animals for money should think before they do it. There are so many shelters looking for good homes for loving animals that have been abused and left to die. Give them homes before you think about bringing more into the world. I now have two dogs that have been from neglect cases. All animals need love, the ugly ones, the handicapped ones, all the way down.
