I know that most blogs are inspirational or helpful in some way, but this time I need YOUR help.
I am currently the treasurer in Key Club, an organization all about helping thier communty. I personally, am extremely motivated, and do any communtiy service project I can get my hands on. The problem is, there really aren't any. One of my major goals this year is to motivate my club to raise enough money to help a large group of people in need. First, I need ways to RAISE money. Second, I need to find a place who desperatly needs this money.
Our club, unfortunatly, is very small, with only about 25 members.
As for fundraisers, we are not allowed to sell food at school, so that is out of the question. Also, car washes aren't very profitable, we made only about $200 at our last one.
Oh, and one more thing, two years ago, we adopted a child. I'm thinking building a school for about $10,000? It was done last year, and really helped kids alot.
Even the smallest suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!

One thing you could do is get scratchcards. They are an interesting way of raising money. My band was looking into to doind this a couple years back. Here's the website for it:

Or you could always try compatability tests. You have your entire school take the test and then sell people their results during lunch or after school. My school does this and it raises a lot of money(especially before a dance). We used this test:
