Some Protesters Take IT Way To Far.

It is a rainy ugly Saturday night. Single sailors and their Georgous dates saunter out to their vehicales to enjoy a night of dancing and fun stuff. Young Couples skip away from the house, out to emjoy a night of dinner and romance away from the tots. I pull away from my house off to Food Lion to buy pain killers for my swollen chipmunk looking husband.

As we all pull up to Mayport Road, window shield wipers blasting, we are greeted by a largs chruch group. Groaning inside i see the familar face of the weirdo leader. This time they brought pickit signs reading "Repent For For Your Sins" "Moaning oh God On Sunday Does Not Count For WOrship" "Jesus Saves:. Here is the kicker, They has BULL HORNS! That's right ladies and gentelmen this Church Group was standing at a busy intersection in a storm yelling into traffic, if that is not a hazard, i don;t know what is. :Ast week they caused a pretty bad wreck.

Kinda irritated, i thought up some solutions for them. They could set up a var wash, to preach their belifes. While doing so, they could pass out phamplets and whitness to the people wanting a free carwash. It's like a time share. The church group gets to get their point heard. The driver get's a clean car. Both people are happy. Also, i have seens oem sunday brunch groups leave their tips in religious phamplets. let the server look at the content before getting their rewarde for good service.

There are all kinds of SAFE ways to witness to people. I do not see why they have to do this in such a aggressive dangerous way. They also had children out in the crazy weather.

I even had to swerve around Mr. Bullhorn when i was turning because he was dancing on the side of the road. Next time i will turn around and grab my camera so i can get a few snap shots of them for ya'll. Make it into a project. I honestly do not see why they have been stalking my neighborhood. It could be because it is military housing. If anything they should be protesting their neighbors. They share a building with "Showboat Strip Club" I could make so many jokes about that, but i won't.
I'll just end this blog here.

I hate it when people do that. Unfortunately, these people aren't very rational and don't see that other ways would be more effective.

As a former waitress, the pamphlets suck. For some reason people seem to think that a religious tract is a substitution for half of the tip.

Isn't saving your soul a whole lot more valuable than a couple of dollars to keep the lights on and feed your kids? Where are your priorities?

They feel like they have to go out to a busy intersection and risk people's lives in order to be heard. I'm sure they feel like they have an important message to share, but if they don't consider the manner in which they choose to do it, their message is still going to be ignored. I wish more of my fellow Christians realized this.

So, maybe they just get a little too desperate...or crazy.
