Do you know what color the sun is? Let me guess, you thought it was yellow, sadly, you were wrong. The sun is infact green. If one were to look at a heat spectrum (heat is light) you would see if something reached 6,000 K (as the sun is) the color it produces is green. there can be some yellow because that is the next hottest light. What many people think is yellow, is very off. As a human your eyes percieve the sun as white, because it does truly have all colors somewhere within it, (all colors together are white). But because of filtered images, and what people teach us, we all think that the sun is yellow! I'm not sure how many people really knew this but when I put it together and then check NASA's website I was disappointed in my whole childhood, and how everything I thought about it was a lie! What 3rd grader brings home a picture of a green sun?
So out of curiosity, how many of you didn't know this, or at least until an older age?
I'm curious who else is shocked to read that?
You're welcome to look at NASA's website if you don't just take my word for it!

Well I knew that the sun looked white because of the combination of colors, but I didn't realize it was really green. That's pretty cool, I like learning new things. Thanks for the info!
