Gossip

No! This blog does not have any juicy gossip in it, and if any of you bloggers clicked on this simply to read the latest gossip then shame on you!!! Shame on you especially if you expected some celebrity news that I had just heard about on the TV or something.
Please tell me, is there anyone else out there as sick of gossip and gossiping as I am? Whether it be EXTRA on TV or my classmates saying the same old thing day after day about a "loser" kid at my school. I am simply sick of hearing about other people. This even applies to my home! I will hear one family member talking about another family member, just to go over that person's house and hear the same person talking about the people they were just gossiping with earlier with the people they were gossiping about before. Confused? Its sad that I actually understand that.
Come on though.... REALLY! WHY OH WHY do people enjoy talking about others so much. Of course I've heard oh they are jealous or oh they are insecure about themselves. Sure, that might apply to someeee people. But I'm not buying that that is the whole story.
Even at my catholic high school I hear things being said about teachers BY teachers. The hypocrites!!! Yes, I said it. They pretend to be models for us, yet they go and do exactly what they tell us not to do. PATHETIC! So please, please, please stop gossiping. All of you!!! Even if you can't stop completely, try to stop at least a little. I truly believe that after reading this you will be amazed at how much you will now notice people talking about other people. Hopefully it bothers you as much as it bothers me.
you are so totally right, I personally try not to gossip cuz i think that will only generate bad karma.
There have actually been studies that gossip is a healthy social interaction, and it effectively strengthens ties (between gossipers of course, not those being gossiped about)
