well hello there, big internet world. <insert lots of ersonal information about myself for others to steal or otherwise cause harm>
i chose the name voltaire because, like that most poigniant writer, i wish to speak my piece. (and win a scholarship). i promise to tell my truth. this is the only promise i make to anyone, and it seems only fair to establish the rules right off.
i also am not a fan of capital letters. they are too formal for my taste and i would rather devote my time to other, more important issues. like fashion. or religion. or lack thereof both.
mmm. the sweet taste of a first post. it has been a long time, sweet internet. but we will be seeing a lot of eachother.
so, in parting, i remind you all- keep yourself lovely. and your truths loud.
I enjoyed reading your introduction. You remind me of one of my best friends. I look forward to hearing more from you in the future. Your penname also brought me back to 10th grade history which holds some interesting memories, so thanks for that.

I find that I love to write anywhere I can. I am new to the entire blogging world, but I hope to share my prospective of this world, my life and my values intertwined, eventually. I am a freshman in college majoring chemistry and loving it.
i second writing where anyone will listen! it is so important to get every idea out there, because the more options you have, the better choices you can make.
something else to note- not every post is necessarily written to be read. this one, most certainly is written for the audience (and what a good-looking crowd!), but i am sure that others of my posts might be a bit cathartic. so that a heads up for later. *wink*
