Leaving your life, in their hands

Being a lawyer takes at least seven years after college and is a stressful job. However, it is rewarding, because one gets to incorporate justice in the world and sometimes give individuals a second chance at life. When lawyers try to win their case they most likely do not lie. People who insist that all lawyers are a bunch of liars are ignorant, but for individuals to avoid the whole stereotype on lawyers, they need to incorporate the word some in from lawyers being liars.

Most lawyers want the best for their clients whether it is getting treatment in a health facility, visitation rights, and prison etc. Lawyers are suppose to help tell their client's story with no lies and therefore try to leave out the bad facts in testimony. Leaving out testimony is not necessarily a lie, but it is not withholding the truth because the client has not been asked the right questions.

The prosecutor has to prove that the accused is guilty beyond a resonable doubt, but decided if there has been a sufficent amount of evidence lies on individuals tremendously. This is a trying time for jurors because a person whom has been accused has his or her life in their hands.

A type of lie known as a lie of omission. Don't get me wrong, I intend to go to law school, but in some cases lawyers really do need to learn how to behave ethically. The problem is that there has been a concerted effort to smear all "trial lawyers" with the same brush by the groups who frequently lose judgments to them, and the American population has bought it hook, line, and sinker.
