Global Campaign for Education

Tagged:  •    •

On Wednesday April 26th 2006, I will be in the Capitol Hill with my youth group, Global Kids, to take about the importance of primary education around the world. I will be speaking with senetors like Clinton and Congressmen Malony fron New York. I am very excited. So far, I'm enjoying my time in D.C. Basically, I just got to D.C this afternoon. It was a cool and pain 4 hour ride from NYC to D.C. Global Kids and NetAid are going to make the case about global education at the capitol hill. So, I will tell you more about it later. For now, answer me this question do you think it's better to spend money on support foreign countries on education than spending money in endless and pointless war in Iraq?

Well if all war is endless and pointless than money should be spent elsewhere, but yes I agree, we should be allocating more resources to education. It should be a top priority.

Definately more money should be spent on education (in other countries and this country too) This is never pointless!

War may or may not be pointless depending on who you ask and who is benefitting.
