Changing MAjors after experience

I have decided to change my major. After one semester doing internship at an elementary school for second grade I do love the little ones But there are so many complications when it comes to me. I have a low immune system so any time a child gets sick I will as well, I do not think it will be the school best interest for me to be a teacher if I am always sick. SO I want to know what all of you think about my new career choice and my reasons for it.

My new choice is going to be getting my bachelors in applied science With a major in sociology. Growing up as a orphan it was very hard for me, I had several case workers some of them made my life miserable and only two of them made my life better. So I have decided to still work with children but to become a CPS social worker and help the children by making their lives more enjoyable and keeping them from harm. In the long run I may even go to law school and become a gaurdian at lightem to be an advocate or the little ones. I kow that at least if I do not like being a CPS caseworker there are many other opportunities I can seek from the government to be a social worker in another agency. Plus As a social worker i will start ut about 17 grand more as the base pay begins at 41,000.

It sounds good to me, go for it. I actually started off wanting to be a lawyer or social worker, and now I'm going into teaching.

If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed...nothing shall be impossible unto you. - Matthew 17:20
