You know what I mean. There are certain people in this world who have the courage to go out in the world and be different. These people have the courage to do something that no one else has ever done. They are the ones who take the road never taken and leave a path.
The Alan Moores, Rush Limbaughs, Larry Fischers, Hunter S. Thompsons, and Bill Gates, of this world are examples of human greatness.
We should all strive to be unique and expand are thinking into places where it has never been.
When I walk down the halls or go to my first block class I see dozens of people with coffee from Starbucks. What a bunch of saps! I see masses of students with pink shirts and popped collars. What a mess. People should not be so afraid of being different that they all do the same thing. Perhaps it is just the high school atmosphere where even the people who act different are actually trying to fit into a certain niche. For example, band geeks and drama geeks. They all act weird and annoying but yet they are all friends and are as idiotic as any other cliché. Those who do not fit in a cliché are the great ones.
Those who are different are the ones who bring the greatness to this world. They think up the innovations that the rest of the masses can enjoy.

People who separate themselves from the crowd for the sake of defying cliques don't achieve anything special. I think you've got it backwards in that respect. Rather, it is the people who are driven enough to be great just happen to not fit into cliques.
You said, "We should all strive to be unique," and I would agree. Just not for the sake of being unique, but if the byproduct of being unique is a changed world, all the better.
Yes...and the fact that people pay 4 dollars for a cup of coffee is absolutely ridiculous.
