Like most people, I love music. I don't know about you, but a good song, a truly great song, is one you can connect with. Gosh!! I just love to sit down, relax, and listen to a good song. It relieves so much stress for me. Acoustic is especially wonderful. I love to write lyrics, and think of new ways to say the same thing. Music reaches so many people on so many different levels...I am thankful that my school offers a music history class. It is amazing to me that music and touch, and change lives. From jazz, to rap, to tribal, to pop...its all out there to make people happy, and to make people sad. Music is meant to bring out your emotions, and whether it's a smile or a tear...it is doing it's job. My dad is in a band, and I love nothing more than just hearing him play...not only because it's great music. It is so rewarding to see the smiles on the faces of the dancers, listeners, even the musicians themselves...

This is so true. I love music. Music is life. Without music life would be incomplete. It's just a way of expressing yourself with a beat and a rhthym; and it's just so awesome.
I have music for every mood I'm in, whether I'm happy, sad, upset, bored, excited, energized it really doesn't matter. It can even change my sadness into happiness if its encouraging music. What would life be without music?
which is why i deplore the fact that some school's music programs are being destroyed. i love to sing, and when my school's choir teacher was fired for budget reasons, i was seriously pissed. music is important.

Yes! I'm music obsessive! I listen to music whenever I can. For some reason, it helps me concentrate on things like college work. Without it, I don't think I'd be the same person. Music inspires me to write. Writing is all me. I have a passion for writing, but I can't have it without music in my life.
I love listening to rock/L.A. style punk, alternative metal (evanescence, chevelle, three days grace), adult alternative (like john mayer and gavin degraw), and old school 1940's/50's/60's jazz (miles davis). It's weird, but I'm cool with that.
