Yes that is right. What I have been saying throughout this whole competition about guns can not statistically be proven. I just recently read an article in “
America’s First Freedom” and it has statistics to prove that guns do not cause violence.
In 2005 the total violent crime rate was 38 percent lower then in 1991 nation wide. (FBI crime date) Also as individual crimes they are much lower then in 1991. Here is a list of the crimes and the percentage they are down.
Murder 43 percent lower
Rape 25 percent lower
Robbery 48 percent lower
Aggravated assault 33 percent lower
Also a survey by the Bureau of Justice Statistics said that crime is at it’s lowest in the 32 years the survey has been around.
The FBI report also stats shot that over 70 million privately owned guns are in possession of American citizens. It also showed that only one in four violent crimes were committed with a gun. In 2005, most violent crimes were committed with knives or bare hands.
Now anti-gunners main focus point is that murder rates have increased 2 percent and violent crimes have raised 1 percent from 2004 to 2005. These things are very small compared to the 14 year downward trend of crime.
Washington D.C., which is the biggest anti-gun city, leads the nation in murder crimes, which is roughly six times more then the nation’s totals.
Maryland was the highest in robberies and a close second to murder amongst the nation mainly because of the high anti-gunner activities.
The FBI report disappointed
New York City’s mayor Michael Bloomberg. For all his support on gun issues his city’s murder rates was more then double the rest of the state. That is one city compared to a whole state.
Philadelphia, where a one-gun-a-month law is in play, the murder rate is over seven times more then the whole state of
Pennsylvania.
In
Florida, where the Right-to-Carry and Castle Doctrine laws are in the works, the murder rate is thirteen percent lower then the rate of the rest of the nation.
Florida’s murder rate was also 58 percent lower in 2005 then in 1986 which was the last year before the Right-to-Carry law was enacted.
This here proves that guns have virtually no affect on crimes. Even if guns happened to be banned it will just make an ethical citizen an easier target.

List sources otherwise none of this has any leverage to back it up. Furthermore, I'm less inclined to believe this because i doesn't seem to take school shootings or list just what the murder rates are.
Phoenixes are superb. They are also fictional beings..but that isn't the point!
