People need to get out there and vote. It is as simple as that. Everyday people in our own communities complain about the things that need changing that aren’t. They don’t realize that they are apart of the problem. Less than something like 25% (correct me if I’m wrong) of the population actually go vote yet we sit in our places of work and education debating and it seems every single person has their opinion. If we want change so bad why don’t we take advantage of what our fore fathers fought to create for u, a freaken democracy. It makes me mad when people want change here and there but don’t have the “energy” to get up and change things themselves. We need motivation. We need perspiration. I think that we need to make voting mandatory. Maybe all those who file taxes are also required to vote. Maybe there should be some sort of incentive like a tax break for all the people who vote in the elections. If they are doing their civic duty they deserve a tax break. I once knew a few people who complained about the policies beng put into effect by a certain politician yet they had never voted a day in their life. They had never lifted a finger to defend what they argue. As close as these polls are these days every single vote counts and we can’t really figure out the true outcome without a good majority of the people including their opinion.
