I saw a new type of Band-Aid brand adhesive bandage and it had its own little version of the Band-aid jungle.
This jingle, and the entire idea behind the commercial, was going to be the intro to my next Logic series entry. But I can not find the words and the dang commercial will not come back on.
I was going to start with how thank full I was that finally somebody came up with a wound care product that had the antibacterial in it and held itself on for the full affect was constantly available to the broken skin area. I was going to mention how great it will be for our children now that this new product is out and that now children will not be loosing limbs due to child scrap ups. Then I was going to tell everyone to run out and by these new Band-Aids.
This is where I would insert the logic and talk about how I seriously do not know how we survived before. I was going to show my results from a Microbiology lab that indicated that soap and water was just as effective as other new age methods. I was also going to talk about the 99.9% or there about effectiveness of many products only leaves the mean bugs and viruses behind free to grow on the now available surface.
I was going to talk about opportunistic bugs. I was going to educate many things. Like how nasty, yet normal, Staphylococcus auereus (Staph) could be and how it is normal microbiota (normal skin flora). I was going to bring up MRSA (Methycillan resistant staph, methycillan being a strong antibiotic) and how there are more strong bugs developing from so much free antibiotic use, meantioning how dangerous and difficult to get rid of it is.
I was going to bring up the new super-bug that has cropped up that rivals MRSA called D-14 or something like that. I think it was a diphtheria or diarrhea bug but I lost my like. I had had e-mailed to a friend but that message was not saved. Damn selectivity.
But because I could not find my jingle I am having a bad day. I cannot get the internet to show and or give me the info I want and need
I wanted to share this information with you, that of which I could remember, because it IS important. People run to the doctor’s to get antibiotics and Docs hand it out to people who do not even need it like candy. People run out and buy things just because a commercial told them or the package looks good and promises ‘gold’ without even a consideration the reasoning behind it. We are being sheep again and It is annoying. We are making life dangerous for ourselves. We are slowly and pointlessly killing out the bacteria that help along with the ones that would not hurt so much. Our abundance of clean water negates the problems with infections that settlers had.
Most importantly is the fact that it is not just our homes that this affects. It is our communities, nation, and all of the earth…thanks to easy transportation.
I am sorry that I am having an incapable day and am to brained out or something to get you the information that you deserve. Please people listen anyway and know that every time you take these unnecessary precautions you put us ALL at risk. Soap and water and good nutrition are the biggest things needed to maintain health.
