Everyone has heard the phrase that we must learn from our mistakes. But have we heard it so much that we have now turned a blind eye?
Whenever we mess up, which we are bound to do eventually, we must actually look back at what happened and find what went wrong so that we can learn, grow and progress in this life.
Progress as defined by Merriam Webster Online Dictionary is "a forward or onward movement (as to an objective or to a goal)" and "gradual betterment; especially : the progressive development of humankind." Personally, my goal or objective for the future is to succeed. As I move towards that goal I will strive to do my best, better myself and try to help others around me. All while still having a good time. That is true progress. It is not a simple methodical approach to life.
Every once and a while, hard times will come. That's when you turn to family and friends to help you get back on that horse and keep riding. But, this also means that you need to be there for your friends and family. It is a give and take relationship, where everyone can learn and grow for success.
