My sister went to an all girls private school from 3rd grade to graduation. Also attending the school were several Jewish girls of various background (perhaps more of extraordinary background), several Whites girls of Irish/Scots dependency, a black girl or two, a couple Asians and Indian/Middle Easterners.
Over the course of her education she made many accomplishments in sports and academics. It was a small class of less than 100 students but she did graduate valedictorian and received awards both academic and athletic (several which is very unusual at the school). She scored a 1600 on her SAT's, went to Princeton and has graduated from medical school.
I'm not sure what her IQ is. Personally I can find faults in her approach to things, I find her writting to be washed out and amateur at best. This could be a result of the intense scholastic. Likewise I would be hesitant to trust her medical judgment, being so inexperienced.
Just the same, the IQ and ability to engulf herself in so much and succeed is commendable at least. She tried very hard and it cost a lot of money. And she supersede the other students in several fields of study and athletics.
She is of Germans/Irish Protestant decendancy w/ a little bit of Amerindian (1/16 maybe 2/16).
Seeing that many if not most of the other students had either Jewish background or background that was common to her own, is this a case of over achievement or could we draw conclusions from this?

There are cultures where learning is encouraged more than others, but I don't think that has to do with IQ.

I certainly think we can make a conclusion from this. A single example can easily be used to make a broad generalization about groups encompassing millions, if not billions of people.
Hell with this information it is quite clear to me that Irish/Germans with small amounts of American Indian are the race with the most potential on the planet. I will immediately marry an AmerIndian so that my child will have the best racial profile possible for success.

I think you may be right about the connection to the Amerindians. My Grandmother wasn't a manic genius (the other side was inbred) but she was very nice woman. God knows it wasn't the Irish.

What is the difference here, they are both caucasion. Its almost like asking who is smarter, Protestant Irish or Catholic English?
Ashkenazi Jews are... special. They have a higher prevalence of at least a few genes than the rest of the Caucasian population (Tay-Sachs and BRCA-1 and BRCA-2 are the ones I can think of off the top of my head). Yes, they're white, but because of Jewish culture, they have a much smaller gene pool.
That being said, I don't get the point of this blog.
