I have come to the conclution that being poor sucks.... There is nothing to do in this world if you have no money. You can't go to the mall, the movies, get some grub, put gas, drink, buy clothing, take your partner out to a date, have an ice cream at the park!!! The world really does just revolve around money now a days. Now I do know that you can go jog, or play at the park... However in the real world, there are only a few select who do this. Those who do already have a specific group of friends they do that with, and it is either extremely hard and or impossible to join up with them. If you haven't picked up on it yet, I have no money T_T.... But that was beside the point!!! I overlooked the choices I had.. Go with my friends and do what... Sit around and watch tv??? I could do that at the comfort of my own home, go to the park.. What look at all the other people do nothing.... Go to the mall... See clothing/games/music/movies/food/electronics/junk I can't buy??? On the other hand, I can get online and do something... Then I thought... I have access to the whole world here, yet there is nothing I wan't to see... Is there somthing wrong with me?? Am I just being materialistic?? or is the US really that boring and money driven??

I don't know. I find plenty to do without money. I'm admittedly cheap, however. Aside from books and the stuff I need for the house, I rarely buy anything.

it is true.money plays such a huge role in society today that without it, you're nothing. I have a blog about education conformity and why people feel that they are required to go to college. it's just harder to live without a savings today.

if you get used to something, sure it's going to be hard to use your mind to to gain access to other things. money doesn't make the world go around, money just allows people to have a reason for getting and giving stuff, when honestly....we could do that with an apple or something, but hey....what do i know, right :-)

Though I do see what you all say, there is also a saying that goes, "Money isn't happiness but it sure does get close to it..." What do you think on that one?
