men. The providers. Women. The nurturers. Do the roles ever swich up. Of course they do but it is widely accepted that men are the superior sex even though it isnt necessarily true. For centuries men have been looked at as the protectors ...how is that when more men commit crimes then women. Now which sex is the protector. Men are assumed to get better jobs, higher status more money and the higher they are on the spectrum the lower women are. Don't gett me wrong I'm not bashing the role of men I'm just simply saying why can't women and men be equal for a change? I know that question seems a bit irrelevant especially if ur a sexist man who is reading this but women have done alot of things that have gone unrecognized and it's time for a change. Take the presidential election for 2008 . Hilary Clinton is a woman (a white woman) but a woman at that. The fact that she could possibly be accepted as a candidate for presidency is an extraordinary achievement in itself. Maybe she might not win but the fact that the world will accept her as a leader is one step closer to the equality needed. So the next time you walk down the street and you see a woman look at her not as your opposite sex but as a equal.

Archeoligists have discovered that the first human societies were matriarchal. Women ruled then, we were seen as special because of our ability to bear children. However, that has obviously changed over time.
