666 is the number that has long been symbolized as another name for devil and I read a aticle on the number 666 today. The women in the U.K are trying
postpone the day of childbirth as the date is set on 2006.6.06 followed by three six as the number of devil. These women are afraid to deliver the sons of
the devil if there is any possibilities. Also, the new version of the movie "The Omen" by Fox is going to be on on June 6th as the strategy of their
propagate. Some people pointed out that the name Fox itself is abnormal as F is the 6th letter in the alphabets, O is the 15th(1+5=6) and X is the the 24th
which concluded to be 666 as the number of devil. The even more strange statement is that the son of devil is on this planet already who turned out to be
President Bush as his full name is George Walker Bush Jr which all have six letters in them.
In my point of view, people can be really superstitious sometimes as they being informed by various stories, mythies and traditions from different
countries. As myself being a Chinese, there are several superstitions existing in Chinese culture as well.
- The person's ears will be cut if he or she pointed to the moon. The Chinese believed that there is a moon god and the god will get angry if people
point at her because it is it desrespectful.
- The girls will borned to be a girl again in their next life if they get their ears pireced.
The superstitious characteristics of human is presented in Mark Twain's novel,"Adventure of Huckleberry Finn" through Jim.
To me, superstitious is not a bad concept of it is not overdone by people who destruct his or her life or other people's life for being too superstitious.
Hn, how very interesting... 666 is rather amusing to me, because I find it to be rather stupid. Then again that's just me. However, I do love reading about superstitions... interesting ones you have written here. ^^ Thanks for catchimg my eye!

People can be so dumb...
Honestly, i love superstitious notions. They cause no harm, and it's no use trying to shoot them down, because it is such a human thing to talk about the supernatural, the things we can't control. That said, i'm actually looking forward to The Omen.
Some superstitious are very funny, like
"the son of devil is on this planet already who turned out to be President Bush as his full name is George Walker Bush Jr which all have six letters in them. "
I'm pretty sure many people would agree with that :)
