I'm no political extremist, but George Bush is pissing me off. How many soldiers are going to have to die before we pull out of Iraq??? Bush gave indication the other day that we might have to wait till he's out of office to get our boys home from a war that's not even ours to be fighting. I wonder if he could run again if he would be this nonchalant about public opinion. With his approval ratings hovering in the high 30s, youve got to wonder what is going through this man's head. I understand the need for the limit on presidential terms, but if bush could run again he'd be paying more attention to the attitude and desires of the American population which is what "we" elected him to do. im not 18 so the phrase "we" is loosely defined.
i saw a political cartoon the other day of bush sitting at his desk in the oval office consulting a bunch of mirrors with the caption "bush's new cabinet"- sad but true. the man takes the opinion of noone but himself.

I think the next candidates will be two stupidly rich guys who are shooting for president so they can use their new executive powers to dump money into their already overpaid company CEO's.

What Bush needs is Colin Powell. Colin knows what to do. Too bad he bailed, obviously Bush is doing something wrong or he wouldn't be scaring off cabinet members.
I am sad to say that I voted for Bush--both times, and at that time I considered myself a ery conservative republican. Well times have changed- I feel like Bush is saying, "*&%$ you Americans- what are you gonna do?"
I was especially irritated with statements like, "You aren't here, you don't know what goes on in the White House. I am the boss and I will do what I want to do!" Talk about blatently showing that he really doesn't care.
I came across several bumper stickers the other day in a store that fits your topic.
"How come we choose from only 2 people to be president, but from 50 to be Miss America?"
"Politicians, like diapers, have to be changed often- and for the same purpose"
"Stop repeat offenders- Don't re-elect them"
and my personal favorite-- "Just once let's really scare them- EVERYBODY VOTE!"
