Well as everyone knows the Congress is having troubles with the Border between the United States and Mexico. In Arkansas where I live the City is arresting illegals and deporting them one by one. I think that is a good idea. The place that needs to be raided are some apartments I use to live in. I bet 100% of Hispanics in there are illegals. It is mind boggling how illegals can get phony social security cards too. It should be more rienforced that illegals need to go home. I am not racest by any means, but I live in Arkansas and I think it is rediculous that they are stealing our jobs. I think there are more illegals in Arkansas than any other state. It makes me realy mad when I open the morning newspaper classifieds trying to find a job and all I see is must be bilingual...well there you go equal employment opportunity is a bunch of bull too. I am tired of struggling trying to find a good job when all the illegals are taking them right out from under us Americans for payment of little to nothing. What happened when Bush came into office???

ToS violation; please refrain from using personal attacks--- D.S.theres no way it could possibly be bush. because you dont get the effects of a president term till after he leaves office. so blame bill. in a few year, when bushes policies really start to hit home, then we can decide if he had a good or bad effect.
I suggest you do a little research before you write a blog. California, not Arkansas, has the most illegal residents, and not all of the illegal residents are Hispanic.
Secondly, can you prove that illegals are stealing jobs? I know it's a common thing to say, but it's not based on facts. The Republicans and the Bush administration was all for rounding up all of the illegals one by one, and that was happening all over California. However, in September and October, farmers were complaining that fruits and vegetables were rotting because all of the illegal immigrant raids took the workers that would have ordinarily picked the harvest. If immigrants were stealing jobs, then why is that once they were deported, those jobs weren't filling up? The Bush administration quietly stopped the raids in California and let the illegals stay to pick our fruits and vegetables.
I agree, we do need border security. But you need to look at why they're coming here in the first place in order to stop the flow of illegals.
Our people have been acustomed to hispanics running manual labor, so Californians have become lazy. My boyfriend does construction work and 4 years ago it was booming here but since illegals have invaded there is not a lot of building any more. Why can't they just stay in there country and work there?

That's the question you should be researching. If you think they're coming here just for the hell of it, you are seriously mistaken. Untold numbers of people die trying to get across the border. Perhaps you need to look at the domestic situation of Mexico to understand why they're coming to the United States. If you did some research, you'd come across words like NAFTA, CAFTA, income disparity, bad government policies, etc.
And what is the factual basis for saying that Californians are lazy? All across the country, cities that have been raided have had their local economies suffer. This situation isn't unique to California.
The current real estate slump is affecting all facets of the construction business. That doesn't have anything to do with illegals.

Well you people who do not agree with me can quit writing about my blog. I know for a fact if you came over here I can take you to where illegals are stealing our jobs and I already knew that there government sucks over there. If it sucks that bad they need to stand up and do something about it not just run away from there problems!!!! Also if you came to Northwest Arkansas and saw for your very own eyes all the construction going on is being taken over by hispanics because they will do it for little to nothing. This is a fact....they come over here, work for little to nothing, 30 of them to a house...that's why they drive nice cars and have nice clothes, and after they have made enough money to send back down to Mexico to their families, they move back down to Mexico. What they need to do is start thinking about Americans and quit stealing our government benefits and taking our jobs. 80% of jails are filled with Hispanics and I don't think I should have to pay taxes for that so they need to move back to where they came from!!!!
I don't think you can blame the workers. They are just doing for their families what any one of us would do if we were in a similar situation. Take your complaints to the employers who employ illegals, paying them less than a living wage so they have to live 50 to a house. If the employers were obeying the law, illegal immigration would be a MUCH smaller problem. As it stands, though, illegal immigration is a problem caused by American employers, not the immigrants themselves. If the jobs weren't available, people wouldn't move here for them.

Exactly!!! The immigrants need to take that up with their government. It's not our fault they don't have jobs in Mexico. I am in a similar situation and illegals are still getting better jobs than me and I only live with three other people wich is my immediate family.
No, I was talking about the American employers who hire illegal immigrants. If they obeyed the law, there would be fewer immigrants coming here for cash employment. The system would work, if Americans obeyed the law. American employers are the problem. We offer illegal jobs, people take them illegally. If we offer legal jobs, people take them legally, and no one is undercutting anyone.
