Gosh, life has been crazy lately. Everyone keeps saying how they have so much time to do everything, and ive come to realize i have really horrid time management anymore. Not only do i have bad time management skills but everyone has me so caught up in their life helping to fix it that i have no time to sort mine out. Im in eleventh grade this year and just got done moving.... again. ive moved twice every year of highschool and have been to about six schools in the three short years of my high school career. Needless to say life has been pretty hectic. Noty only have ive been busy trying to move into my new house, im trying to find a job, save money for a car, and figure out where im getting the 121, 000 for tuition for college.
Focusing on school is proving to be very difficult lately. Not only for me but for the teachers teaching the class. It seems like theyve gotten so used to writting people up for everything and noticing all the itsy bitsy dirubtions in class that they have no time to actually educate the students who ARE paying attention to them. The ones who need help get left behind and the ones who know whats going on get tired of waiting to learn the next new thing. im not even kidding, their was a notice sent out to the teachers at my school that they actually had to stop throwing kids out of class and writing aministrative detentions because to many students were ending up in ISS (in school suspension) for not going to the detention that they thought they didnt diserve. Heres what i believe to be wrong with that.... Not that teachers are no longer allowed to disiplant kids, the ones who actually deserve the detention for being overly disrubtive arent going to recieve it. I go to a school with over 4, 000 kids, theirs going to be problems. People in charge just need to learn how to handle them better in my opinion.
I don't know, i guess im just fustrated with the way things work. I think when yuo go to school you should actually be given the opportunity to learn things you'll need. You shouldnt have to take BS classes, your teachers should work with you to make should you exceed, and programs for help should be easy to come acroos. No wonder why high school drop out rates are so high... because kids have no inerest in learning what they dont need, while being yelled at by someone who hates their job and could care less whether the kids come to their class because they get paid either way.
