In the NFL these days its hard to find a lot of hard hitters in defensive backs. however there are a few of them who can really stick it to a reicerver coming down the middle or a running back who bounces the ball to the outside. and among those few there is a man named Sean Taylor, he attended the college of miami where he played strong safety and did nothing but tear the offense up by making big plays after big plays. offenses always kept there eyes open for number 26 flying around looking for the ball carrier. and nothing at all changed about his game when he was drafted by the redskins in the first round in the 2003 draft. he still had the hard nose attitude, and still had the play making abillities which he dominated with in college. in only his first year in the league he was on the field competing with the best receivers in the league such as terrell owens, randy moss and chad johnson and i guarantee you every single one of those recievers by the end of the game knew who sean taylor was. he doesnt care who you are or what you have already accomplished in the league if you have the ball he will come after you and will let you know about it when your on the floor getting up. Sean Taylor made his mark in college as a tough guy who goes on the field to make plays, and that attitude has not changed at all in the pros. Sean Taylor is the best safety in the league and one day he will be among the greatest who ever played the game. read my shit!!! ahaha

Whoa dude, I think you are GRAVELY mistaken. First of all, Sean Taylor is NOT the hardest hitting safety in the NFL, nor the best. That title belongs to Roy Williams of the Dallas Cowboys, and Troy Polamalu of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Second, he is a WHINER and a CRY BABY. He talks too much smack, but can't back it up. When he gets angry, he spits in people's faces. Remember when Michael Pittman of the Tampa Bay Bucs was about to MANHANDLE Taylor for spitting on him? Well, Taylor got real scared after that. 'Nuff said.
man i couldn't agree with you more sean taylor is THE Hardest Hitting safety in the league. second i would say troy polomalu. the differnce between the two is troy flies around but always ankle tackles. Sean taylor will hit you straight up and more than half of the time he wins those battles. sean ight not be the best safety but i will agree with the most agrssive and hardest hitting for sure.
