I got into a fight with a good friend the other day. It was for a really stupid thing but also made me realize that I do believe in some things. And well the one thing he said to me that truly started the fight was the fact that according to him Sarah Palin is the only real American left. If this is true then we're in major trouble. For starters, Sarah Palin is against the economy and got mad at President Bush (I don't like him too much either) because he named Polar Bears as an endangered species (which they probably are). That's not really why I dislike her though, I mean sure, I'm all for the environment and stuff, but I'm also for equal rights and to me, that comes first.
You see Sarah Palin is also anti-abortion even with the exception of incest or rape. In my honest opinion, I wouldn't kill my child but if a person was unable to raise a child then they shouldn't bring it into the world, and if it be better that they kill it, then so be it. She also doesn't think that we should take Family Life, but that we should take abstinence classes. What is an abstinence class anyway? What could it truly teach you that is beneficial? I mean, Family Life teaches you tons of things, things that you can use for the future. Speaking of which there's a rumor going around that her daughter took these abstinence classes and wound up pregnant at 17. May I just say wow. Great parenting skills, she has.
Excuse me for my Yoda moment. Sometimes when I zone out I get very dyslexic. Anway, back to what I was talking about, the one thing that really got me over the edge was that Sarah Palin and her church want to convert homosexuals to heterosexuality with prayer. Being that I'm bisexual I am very upset with this announcement. I am also Agnostic and really don't want some bunch of bible thumping radical christians praying over me. I have nothing against christianity, don't jump to conclusions, I just don't like the ones that hate every other religion including ones that are actually branches off their own faith.
Where to start okay Sarah Palin is not the only real American left. She is against abortion I have heard a saying for over 23 years of my 28 and that is "don't do the crime, if you can't do the time". If you are going to have sex free and willingly then you become pregnant, then you need to bring that life into the world. If you can not raise it, then give it up for adoption; let someone that can take care of the child take it. If you are so demented enough that you think you can just kill a living thing growing inside of you with no feeling then you are cold. The only time I will let this slide is in rape cases and I would still ask her to give it a chance. We as Americans have become too quick to kill in this day in age. What did that child do? It has done nothing. It is the fault of the two supposed adults that committed the act in the first place. If you were in the throws of passion and to busy trying to get your next orgasm to think about what could happen, then you are an idiot. Birth control can and will fail, it has happened before, and it will happen again.
How wrong is this discussion? For one, we are mad because someone believes whole heartedly that the life of an unborn defenseless baby is worth keeping alive and then we praise someone that believes that a child that is born alive after surviving an abortion needs to be killed. What the heck is wrong with this country? Three times Obama has voted that babies be left to die if their mother tried and failed to kill them the first time. I am talking about the Born Alive Act that states when the child was not successfully murdered in the womb and is born alive and has not yet taken that first breath of life on its own are left to die with no one coming to their aid. A man, or a woman, that can look at their selves in the mirror after allowing this to happen must not be right in the mind. That is were I am going to leave off this topic.
The Polar Bear it is not endangered its population has grown 5 times what it was in the 1970’s how can that mean that they are in any danger? Go here if you would like to know more or here. Make your own choice on that.
