Broadcasting "The House that Love Built"

Currently, I'm working on a video that promotes the Ronald McDonald House. And while I love filmmaking, it's getting pretty strenuous. In my part of the country, we are having

huge

and I mean

HUGE

St. Patrick's day plans and everyone is not able to come through and help with the project because of the time being taken away. Despite the stress, I'm steadily being driven by the fact that the end result will be what's worth it. All of the scheduling and shooting and cutting in the editing room will really pay off when people look at our finish product and say, 'Hey, there are people in need. What can I do to help?" That's our main goal.

So many families have their normal, daily lives disrupted by the illnesses that befalls their child. It takes a lot of time and money to help get them back on a healthy track and continuing their overall growth in having a bright, healthy future. But in the time it takes for a child to become healthy, families need a place close enough to a hospital so that they can visit their child is something comes up. That's where the Ronald McDonald House comes in.

If you didn't know, McDonalds DOES NOT run the Ronald McDonald Houses. They're all privately owned by managers who are constantly going out into the community to garner funds to keep it going. The average cost for one family a night is ten bucks. Times that by ten, add the fees for utiltiy, services, and everything else that it takes to support a large two story building, and you will see how badly we need support.

I'm hoping that people will really take this project seriously. Many times, adults will just push aside whatever type of presentation a group of teens put together because it may not be "professional" or as high of the quality as they may be used to. Well, that won't be our case. I've taken the liberty to use high-end equipment, make every shot look good, and I've been trying my hardest as the man organizer to put it all together.

I'll finally be relieve in May when it's all done and finished and screened.

Out of all the hard work , I think something quite excellent will come ot it.
