Sharing your home with a bunch of slithery snakes...

A couple in Idaho bought a new house, not realizing there were hundreds, maybe even thousands of garter snakes hibernating under the house and in the basement. Now the snakes have woken up and they're EVERYWHERE. They did kill the snakes for a while, but stopped after they found out the snakes are protected by Idaho law. What would you do if this happened to you? Could you share your home with a bunch of slithery snakes? Turning on lights and finding four-foot long garter snakes just sitting around on the wall right next to the cord? What would you DO?

I don't mind snakes so much, but if there were THAT many...I just might have to call in some professionals to remove them. But what if they came back the next winter? What then? I might just have to move!

I'd say I'd probably move. No one will want to live with snakes. Period. well most people anyway

I would go to the store, buy a bunch of tanks, and collect them! Of course, I don't know how I'd keep all of them straight, but I can't pass up a free pet.

As long as you have the snakes, you don't have to worry about mice.
