Science Fiction

I know you may think me nerdy for saying so, but I'm very interested in the prospect of life on other planets. When you brought that up yesterday, I couldnt help but continue to think about it. You know how often times people talk about eyes watching over them, and an undefined presence? That feeling makes me think that maybe we really are just someone else's experiment - being recorded for further analysis. We're not really at the top of the food chain, are we? It's an interesting prospect that makes me fell miniscule like my own life means nothin in comparison to all my peers. Our existence has been diminshed to data - capturing the interest of some giant that's not quite dangerous, just curious. Our universe is just one among many. The reason our searches have no exceeded the knowledge that we currently have it that we're looking for life forms with similar characteristics to ours. Well maybe there can be life without a necesity for oxygen and water. our searches have been so narrow that we have no progressed by any means. Impossible you say? Well apparently it was also once thought impossible that the earth is not the center of the universe. Hypothese and even theories have been proved wrong - it's a characterisitc of human nature to be flawed, and even geniouses have been wrong. Although huge amounts of progress have been made in technology, there's still a whole world full of unanswered questions, maybe more worlds. Time often prevents colossal leaps in between spheres, but it can be done. Maybe that impossible isnt quite as impossible as you think it.
